Marsh UK to resume full control of its Norwich operations from Capita

Marsh UK have today announced that it will resume control of its Norwich-based support and processing services from Capita Insurance Services.

This follows the conclusion of the core 10-year partnership between the two businesses.

Capita will continue to provide support to Marsh’s UK operations through its offshore facility in Pune, India.

As a result, approximately 550 Capita employees, who are already based in Marsh’s Norwich office, will join Marsh’s 470 existing colleagues in the city.

“Over the last 10 years, our office in Norwich has become an increasingly important part of the way we support our multinational clients,” said Mark Weil, chief executive of Marsh UK & Ireland. “In that time, we have benefitted from Capita’s broad expertise, especially as we undertook some major operational initiatives that enabled us to improve our client service.”
