Three new appointments include placement manager from Oval
Marsh has made three appointments in the insurance placement team of its UK networks operation. They include:
- Mike Patston has been promoted to the role of head of placement and product development. Patston has management responsibility for insurance placement, product development and market relationships within Marsh’s networks operation, ensuring that its product offerings are aligned to member needs and deliver a competitive edge.
- Craig Toyer has joined from Oval, where he was a placement manager for more than 13 years. Toyer will focus on developing Marsh ProBroker’s product suite and drive the creation of new, exclusive offerings with key insurers in the company market, Lloyd’s and the London market.
- Rosanna Littleton joins from Marsh’s graduate programme and will support the team in developing its insurer and client relationships.
Marsh’s networks operation includes Marsh ProBroker, for independent brokers; Marsh Labyrinth, its commercial and personal lines network offering; and Marsh Connections, its niche distribution channel.
The insurance placement team focuses on developing products and services to members.
Marsh network practice head Martyn Denney (pictured) said: “Today’s announcement follows a highly successful period of growth for Marsh’s networks business.
“By enhancing our placement capabilities we will be able to provide our brokers with access to an even wider range of differentiated products, which will support them in their growth plans. This is essential in helping clients succeed in the tough economic climate.”
