Former Bank of New York CFO to take up role in August
Marsh has appointed Angus Cameron as chief financial officer of Marsh UK.
Cameron will join Marsh on 18 August and will report to both Martin South, CEO of Marsh UK and Marc Vassanelli, CFO of Marsh in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Following a career at Barclays, Mr Cameron joined Scottish Widows as Deputy Finance Director in 1998; CMA Europe as CFO in 2001; and Bank of New York as CFO, Europe in 2004.
Most recently he was CFO of Depfa Bank, the Dublin-based provider of financial services to the public sector worldwide, which was acquired by Hypo Real Estate Bank last October.
South said: “Attracting a senior financial leader of Angus' stature and experience is a major coup for Marsh UK. Through these roles Angus has established an impressive track record not only as a key member of senior executive teams but also as a respected leader of finance and accounting professionals.
“Angus will play a major role in helping us achieve our ambitions and I look forward to his contributions to our success.”
