Insurer relationships extended

Property repair and maintenance specialist Rok has said its results for 2008 are in line with expectations.

Rok, which issued a trading update on 13 January, opened an office in Mansfield last month to manage claims.

The trading update said: “Insurance customers Nationwide, AXA and Fortis have extended their relationship with Rok during 2008, which will benefit our revenues in 2009.

“We have also extended our contract with Zurich Insurance for a further five years. With demand for our response maintenance services continuing to increase ... a new claims management centre in Mansfield will handle the current and expected growth in volumes.”

Rok reported less success in its housing and government contracts and predicts 2009 will be a tough year.

The company will announce its preliminary results on 12 March.
