The Loss Recovery Group has started trading under its new name, Lorega Claims and Underwriting Services.
The company said it was expanding its policyholder claims support service with the introduction of a back-office claims handling function for brokers.
It said the new service, called Brokers Integrated Claims Service, would provide a reporting and desktop administration service for all non-motor related claims under £5000.
Lorega broker claims services managing director Malcolm Harvey said: "All our products and services are designed to support the broker and their client through the claims process.
"We have listened closely to what brokers have been telling us about the issues they face in delivering a high quality service that keeps their administration costs down. BICS is designed to address that very problem."
