Claims service for Jelf customers
Loss recovery insurance specialist Lorega has signed a deal with Jelf Insurance Brokers which will make its claims assistance service available to Jelf Insurance Brokers’ commercial customer base.
The deal will provide a chartered loss adjuster to help Jelf Insurance Brokers’ commercial clients prepare and manage their claims.
Lorega clinched the contract with Jelf Insurance Brokers following a tender process and a successful pilot, which involved thorough due diligence into Lorega’s service and processes.
Lorega will now automatically provide one of its qualified adjusters from a 70 strong panel to represent and assist Jelf Insurance Brokers clients with commercial material damage and business interruption claims above £5,000.
Lorega chief executive officer John Sims said: “While Jelf Insurance Brokers rigorously tested our offering this has been more than vindicated by the subsequent implementation of it across their commercial business. Jelf Insurance Brokers has been fastidious in its due diligence of Lorega and our loss recovery proposition.
"Its approach to fully testing our service before launching it across the division has been impressive and it is extremely pleasing to come through it with such great results. Jelf Insurance Brokers have shown a real commitment to managing customer expectations and internal claims costs and their extremely high standards of professionalism have made them a delight to deal with.”
Gina Dixon, managing director of Jelf Insurance Brokers said: “We are extremely pleased to announce this initiative which will bring multiple benefits all round to our clients, our insurers and to the Jelf Group. Providing an expert to assist clients throughout their claim is not only reassuring for them but helps bring about a swift and fair settlement.
"This not only helps with client retention but, by ensuring client expectations are realistic, further helps us to return good underwriting results to our insurers, which means benefit for all involved.”
