Lockton RE appoints New York chief
Lockton is chasing part of the lucrative US reinsurance market after appionting a New York-based development manager.
Lockton Re has appointed John Daum as executive director based in New York, the insurabroker’s first US-based reinsurance associate.
Daum will develop Lockton’s reinsurance capability in the US, reporting to Stephen Hitchcock, managing director of Lockton Re in London.
Daum has 25 years of international insurance and reinsurance experience with a network of contacts throughout North America and Europe.
Formerly with Collins Associates in New York, Daum is familiar with all aspects of insurance company operations, distribution, and underwriting, and has extensive marketing and product expertise to address the varied needs of today’s reinsurance buyer.
