Lloyd's broker poaches two from rival

Lloyd's broker Ropner Insurance Serviceshas strengthened its non marine team with the appointment of David Pratt-Sinclair and James Sergeant.

Both Pratt-Sinclair and Sergeant join Ropner from Houlder Insurance Brokers, bringing with them a portfolio of clients and over 46 years of experience within the International market and more specifically the North American, Canadian and Caribbean Islands Property and Liability markets, in respect of facultative insurance and reinsurance and Binding Authorities.

Pratt-Sinclair said: “Becoming part of a Company that is very highly respected in both the London and International insurance communities and being able to contribute to its future development in a meaningful way, we see as being a very positive step for us.”

Sergeant added: “I am delighted to be joining Ropner as I see it as being a very pro-active company that clearly wants to expand its portfolio of business and geographical reach. This is a very exciting opportunity going forward.”
