LV= chooses Thunderhead platform to generate customer documentation in the UK...
Thunderhead, a provider of enterprise communications technology, today announced that the general insurance business of financial services firm Liverpool Victoria, recently launched as LV=, has selected the Thunderhead platform to generate all customer documentation in the UK.
LV= provides a broad range of financial services, including savings, investments, life insurance, home and motor insurance to its 2.5m members and customers throughout the UK. The company, which recently announced its aim to become a top five general insurer in the country, is investing substantially to grow the business across a broader range of distribution channels, offering products aimed at both personal customers and SMEs. LV= has already started building a new business operations platform to automate its general insurance business.
“Thunderhead was chosen as it offered LV= a combination of flexible and dynamic document composition backed by a company that was equally flexible and dynamic in supporting a rapid implementation project,” commented Mitch Lambton, IT director at LV= General Insurance.
“Thunderhead's ability to output correspondence to any delivery channel will enable LV= to move to a multi-channel document generation strategy without the need for additional technologies,” said Glen Manchester, chief executive of Thunderhead.
