New product to assist brokers and underwriters is a web-based repository system which works within Microsoft Outlook
KnowledgeCenter, a provider of integrated electronic document management and workflow solutions has launched "'KCenter 1 View", a web based document repository management and business process workflow from within Microsoft Outlook.
The system aims to make production of documentation such as slips and contracts, policy management, the management and servicing of binding authorities and management and integration of e-mails far easier and timely for brokers and underwriters whilst also addressing contract certainty demands.
Kevin Osborn, managing director of KnowledgeCenter, said: "I believe that 'KCenter 1 View' will revolutionise the use of document management, document repositories and workflow for Brokers and Underwriters. They will now be able to initiate and manage their processes solely from within Outlook navigating seamlessly between different systems without having to open separate windows.
"As brokers and underwriters strive to meet the demands of market change, at KnowledgeCenter we believe that this solution delivers the functionality which handles market requirements within an environment that is transparently familiar to their users."
