James Twining handed role in JLT senior management team

Jardine Lloyd Thompson is adding James Twining to its group executive committee as group strategy director in January 2011.

Twining has worked in investment banking at UBS and owned his own corporate consultancy and e-procurement businesses.

He is currently an associate principal at McKinsey & Company, where his responsibilities have included being a core leader of the firm's risk practice, with specific responsibility for risk organisation and culture.

JLT group chief executive Dominic Burke, said: "We are delighted that James is joining JLT.

"His role will be to provide support across the group to continue JLT's successful strategy of focusing on the needs of our clients and delivering sustained growth in revenues, profit and shareholder value.
