New platform aims to compete with existing offerings
Underwriting agency iprism has joined forces with broker back-office provider Durell to launch a broker trading and back-office platform.
The new platform aims to compete with existing offerings by offering terms from a panel of insurers using one question set that fulfils one policy wording.
In addition to the standard back-office functionality, the system also allows brokers’ clients to access their own dedicated webpage where they can review and download policy information on their iPads or similar devices.
Platform features include automatic population and update of clients and policies, full-cycle electronic data interchange, full accounting and client-facing services.
The partnership with Durell will give our existing users access to an excellent back-office system at a fraction of the cost and with far greater functionality than other providers,” iprism business development head Simon Lloyd said in a statement.
