Outsourcing firm on £75m seven-year contract
Aviva has awarded a £75m seven-year contract for its domestic subsidence claims to The Innovation Group (TIG).
TIG will handle new domestic claims and take over any outstanding claims from Aviva’s previous contractors today. Aviva’s domestic subsidence claims were previously handled by Cunningham Lindey and Crawfords with the work split 90/10.
TIG chief executive Andy Roberts said: “I am delighted to announce the signing of this substantial contract, which is the clearest confirmation yet of the strength of our offer. We look forward to starting work on this exciting project and I hope that our work, and the results it generates, will send a clear signal to carriers here and abroad about the value of our offering and capabilities.”
The insurer’s commercial subsidence claims are still managed by Crawford.
Last month Direct Line extended its contract to outsource subsidence claims to TIG until December 2017, and in 2011 it won a 3.5-year contract to handle RBS Insurance’s subsidence claims.
