New underwriters will bring 'significant depth of industry knowledge'
Hardy Underwriting Bermuda Limited (LSE: HDU) has hired two new underwriters.
David Haslam and Myles Dytor have been recruited to the non-marine property division of Hardy's Lloyd's Syndicate 382.
Haslam, previously a Lloyd's broker and a US Lloyd's coverholder, has joined Hardy to develop a book of U.S. and international property binding authorities.
Haslam also has experience in the management of delegated underwriting facilities.
Dytor, joining from HSBC Insurance Brokers, will work on Hardy's global construction and engineering account, and will help develop operational power business within the direct and facultative account.
Barbara Merry, chief executive of the Hardy Group, said: "We are delighted that David and Myles are joining Hardy. They bring significant depth of industry knowledge and will be taking a leading role with their respective remits."
