Spanish insurance broker Grupo Diagonal has bought Lloyd's broker Lovat International, as part of its plan to develop within the UK market.
The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
The new management team consists of chairman Arturo Reneses, managing director Javier de Mijangos, compliance director Peter Reay, finance director Patrick Webb and Albert Goldfinch.
