Green Flag Motoring Assistance has come first in an independent customer satisfaction survey - in terms of speed of service and value for money.

Most of those questioned (96%) said they were satisfied with the service from the roadside assistance and breakdown provider. While 90% of motorists described the speed of arrival of the mechanic as excellent or good. Some 93% also gave the highest rates for the time the mechanic took to do what was necessary at the roadside.

Green Flag also beat the competition on the time taken to answer the phone, with 98% rating this as excellent or good.

Green Flag spokesperson Nigel Charlesworth said: "It is reassuring to see such positive speed of arrival results, as this is paramount to our customers, particularly during the winter months, when motorists may become stranded in the cold and dark. They need to have confidence that we will reach them fast, and do whatever is necessary to get them back on the road quickly. The results confirm customer confidence in Green Flag's ability is strong."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
