Giles Insurance has made a cross border raid, opening new offices in Manchester, Newcastle and Warwick.
The Glasgow-based company now has 18 offices employing 300 people.
The three companies are expected to bring in £6m per year in premium income during the first year of trading, said Giles.
Giles reckoned its premium income would top £85m by the end of the group's financial year in August and that brokerage would be around £15m. This would see Giles break into the Insurance Times Top 50 brokers and intermediaries.
