McGonigle now development director, corporate risks

Giles Insurance Brokers has appointed Simon McGonigle as development director, corporate risks.

McGonigle joins from James Hallam, where he was responsible for drumming up new business for its London office.

Giles chief executive Brendan McManus said: “We’re delighted that Simon has been appointed to this role during an exciting phase of development for Giles in city insurance. His experience of the market will be invaluable and will help propel the growth of our offering.”

McGonigle said: “I am very excited to start working for Giles. I hope to build on my sector knowledge and Giles’s current expertise to further expand our high quality customer base.”

 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
