Hires are part of strategy to locate underwriting teams closer to broker markets
Towergate-owned MGA Fusion has made three new appointments to its Manchester office.
Dan Wilde has been hired as a regional development underwriter, while Kimberley Bloor has been appointed as an assistant underwriter.
Wilde joins Fusion from Travelers where he was a development underwriter. Part of his role will include developing a panel of brokers in the North West.
Bloor was previously at W R Berkley where she was an underwriting assistant for two years. Her role will be to support the growing team of underwriters in the Fusion Manchester office.
Charlotte Craven has also joined the Manchester office from the Leeds branch and has been appointed as a motor fleet trading underwriter.
She will be responsible for handling existing business and new business.
Mark Johnson has also been promoted to regional underwriting manager. He will be responsible for developing strategies to grow the business in the North West.
Fusion chief executive David Bruce said: “Our Manchester office is growing in size and stature since we opened in November 2014. I am delighted that Dan, Charlotte and Kimberley have joined our Manchester office, and Mark’s promotion is a reflection of his continued work in the North West region.
“Locating underwriting teams close to our broker markets, including this new focus on Manchester, allow us to consistently offer the highest levels of service to brokers and policyholders alike.”
