The FSA has banned insurance broker Kevin Dalglish for failing to pay his fees and levies.
The regulator has issued a decision notice cancelling the Part IV permission for Dalglish, of 45 Archery Road, Eltham, to carry out regulated activities.
The notice says that Dalglish, who traded as Dulwich Insurance Services, had failed to pay £1,280.33 owed to the FSA despite requested requests from the regulator.
The notice, which was issued by John Kirby of the FSA’s enforcement and financial crime division, says: "This failing, which is significant in the context of Mr Dalglish’s suitability, leads the FSA to conclude that he is not conducting his business soundly and prudently and in compliance with proper standards and that Mr Dalglish is not a fit and proper person, and that he is therefore failing to satisfy the Threshold Conditions in relation to the regulated activities for which he had a Part IV permission."
Dalglish has not exercised his right to appeal to the Upper Tribunal against the FSA’s decision.
