Fitch Ratings has placed SCOR Group's BBB insurer financial strength rating on Rating Watch Negative.
The long-term BBB- and short-term F3 ratings for SCOR have also been placed on a negative watch.
Fitch said the insurer financial strength ratings for SCOR's Commercial Risk Partners subsidiaries remain on Rating Watch Evolving.
It said the ratings action followed the announcement of SCOR's third quarter results which it said included significant reserve strengthening. SCOR management also intends to raise new capital, said Fitch.
Fitch said it plans to meet with SCOR and resolve the rating watch promptly.
