FirstAssist has signed a deal with Barclaycard to supply travel insurance for its Infinite Visa Card.
The card, launched this month, is available by invitation only for customer with salaries in excess if £100,000.
FirstAssist already has a deal with Barclaycard to provide insurance for its Premier Account holders.
Under the Infinite Visa Card deal, cardholders will have complimentary travel insurance for themselves and any family members travelling with them. Additional benefits include extended warranty and purchase cover, and internet delivery protection.
FirstAssist chief executive Tim Ablett, said: “This is a fantastic win for us and builds on the strong relationship we already have with Barclaycard.
“We will continue to work with them to develop new added benefits for their customers, bringing them a new level of service excellence.”
Ablett continued: “We have also recently won the UNAT Direct and Co-op Travelcare contracts to provide 24 hour medical and travel assistance to their insurance policyholders.
“These reflect the continued growth of FirstAssist's travel insurance and assistance client portfolio and the success in the provision of a quality travel service offering.”
