FirstAssist Insurance has appointed Alistair Hardie as managing director of its speciality insurance business.
Previously sales director for UK and Ireland at Stonebridge Insurance, Hardie has spent most of his career in financial services distribution. In particular, he has worked in the insurance and banking sectors, with previous roles encompassing business development, management process and training, and general management.
“We aim to focus on our white label client partnering solutions, direct marketing expertise and our budget insurance operation to build on our highly competitive offering in the financial services sector,” said Hardie, commenting on FirstAssist's strategy going forward.
Supporting this strategy is the new head of sales for the speciality insurance business, Fiona Lloyd-Williams. Previously with American Express as head of European account management, she has extensive experience in customer development and partnership marketing.
