In the Insurance Times 2019 Etrading survey, 761 brokers took part. The following insurers performed strongly amongst brokers.
Insurer Extranets
Aviva Fast-Trade
Aviva's Fast Trade e-trading platform was awarded a maximum five-star rating. Brokers felt they received a five-star service in all five e-trading service factors explored in this survey from ease of navigation to the breadth of cover and product range available.
NIG The Hub
Ranked 2nd: NIG's The Hub e-trading platform was awarded a maximum five-star rating, with brokers giving it five stars in four of the five service factors. The platform performed strongly across all broker groups, with small and large independent brokers and network brokers giving five stars. This was the only insurer to receive a five star rating for insurer extranet and software house etrading capabilities.
Allianz QuoteSME
Ranked 3rd: Allianz's QuoteSME e-trading platform was awarded a four-star rating, with brokers giving five stars for breadth of cover & product range and referral process & expertise and a four-star rating in the remaining factors. Allianz QuoteSME performed strongly among all four broker groups, consistently being awarded a four-star rating.
Insurer via Software Houses
NIG
For e-trading via broker software platforms, brokers gave NIG an overall five-star rating. Brokers felt they received a five-star service in pricing, question quality, navigation, referrals and the breath of cover. Small and large independent brokers, and network members all gave NIG five stars, highlighting great strides made over the year in providing frictionless trade.
AXA
Ranked 2nd: For e-trading across software platforms, brokers gave AXA an overall four star rating, awarding five stars for breadth of cover and product range and four stars in the remaining four factors.
Covéa Insurance
Ranked 3rd: Brokers gave Covéa an overall four-star rating for e-trading via broker software platforms, awarding five stars for referral process & expertise, they gave three stars for breadth of cover & product range. The overall e-trading experience via platforms was highly rated by small independent brokers and network members, which both gave four stars.
