Ann Richards joins as non-executive director
Esure has made three changes to its board of directors, appointing Aberdeen Asset Management chief investment officer Ann Richards as a non-executive director and making two senior internal changes.
Esure group finance director Andrew Whitehouse has become the company’s first chief risk officer, while head of finance Darren Ogden has joined the board as chief financial officer.
Richards has spent 20 years in research analysis, portfolio management and global asset allocation with JP Morgan, Mercury Asset Management and Edinburgh Fund Managers.
Esure chairman Peter Wood (pictured) said the new appointments would help the firm take full advantage of “strategic opportunities” that lay ahead.
He said: “We are very fortunate that Anne has agreed to join our board. She brings a wealth of management, strategy and investment experience which will serve us well. Her appointment is a further step in strengthening our board following the appointment of Dame Helen Alexander last November.”
