Covéa Insurance retail distribution director Carol Geldard (pictured) has been promoted to personal lines director.
Geldard will take up the newly-created role on 1 June this year.
In her new job Geldard will have executive responsibility for the UK insurer’s direct and brokered personal lines offering.
She will retain executive responsibility for the company’s marketing and communications activities.
Covéa Insurance’s personal lines leadership teams, including director of personal lines intermediated distribution Sue Coffey, director of personal lines pricing and underwriting Gary Yeates, and head of direct distribution Stephen Long will all report to Geldard.
Geldard has worked for Covéa for almost 15 years in a variety of senior roles.
