Collegiate Insurance Brokers has appointed PI Direct's broker-dedicated sector PI Brokerlink to provide a professional indemnity scheme for MAPIC members.
MAPIC is a professional indemnity insurance mutual (in run-off) for small to medium sized accounting practices managed by Collegiate.
MAPIC members have previously obtained PI cover through a Lloyd's facility arranged by Collegiate Management Services.
Collegiate said the step had been taken in response to the changing market. It also said PI Brokerlink would be able to offer greater benefits to its members.
The scheme will be underwritten by Hiscox.
