ALPS will provide legal expenses and guaranteed vehicle hire and FNOL service

Claims services provider ALPS has struck an exclusive three-year deal with broker Finch to provide motor, legal and claims services.

Under the deal, ALPS and Finch have created a programme called Finch Assist.

ALPS will provide legal expenses and guaranteed vehicle hire and a first notification of loss (FNOL) service to Finch’s motor clients.

Finch, which has offices in Manchester, Sheffield and Halifax, is a founding member of the UNA independent broking alliance and the Worldwide Broker Network.

Finch Group managing director Mike Latham said: “Working with ALPS will enable us to differentiate ourselves in a crowded marketplace. 

“Exclusive elements such as seven-day provision of a vehicle as standard, backed by ALPS’ excellent legal and claims services, means that our clients can be sure they have one of the most comprehensive policies available.”

ALPS sales and marketing director Matt Field added “We will be acting as a seamless extension to Finch’s own claims team and we are also providing training to help them explain the benefits of Finch Assist to their clients.

“This is a really exciting development for ALPS. It demonstrates the bespoke nature of our offering to brokers’ clients and we hope to be able to persuade other brokers within the UNA network and beyond to work with us on similar projects.”
