Sime’s next step a mystery
RSA UK and western Europe sales and strategic relationships director Chris Sime has announced that he will leave the insurer at the end of June.
The insurer has not given a reason for Sime’s departure, nor explained where he will work next.
Sime has spent 25 years at RSA, starting as a personal lines underwriter.
In a statement, RSA UK and western Europe mid-market director Dan Wilkinson said: “Chris has been a key member of the senior leadership team of the UK business and will be missed by colleagues up and down the country. I want to take the opportunity to wish him every success in whatever he chooses to do next, which I have no doubt will be as successful as his time with RSA.”
Sime said: “I started at RSA when I was only 17, so while it’s been a tough decision to make, I think the time is right for me to see what other opportunities are out there. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and wish all my colleagues luck in the future.”
