Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has won a three year deal to provide IT support for Lloyds TSB's insurance sales systems.

This is part of the consultant's deal to service all of the bank's retail financial products.

Part of the deal is to produce management information and reporting details that enable the bank to measure the performance of the sales force.

The new contract, which has a strong focus on systems development, to support the Lloyds TSB policy of offering customers new and improved financial products to meet their needs, is the third renewal of arrangements that started in 1993.
