Members given free access to updated system
CETA, the general insurance network, has revised and updated its quotation system for brokers and will now add a unique product comparison feature.
The new system will enable members to compare features and benefits of each product. A printable sheet comparing products will also be available for CETA’s members to give to their customers.
CETA already provides intermediaries with quotations for liability insurance but brokers will now be able to use the website to obtain price comparisons for tradesmen and professional liability insurance from MMA, Groupama, Fortis and AXA in under a minute, it claimed.
David Quick, managing director of CETA, said: “This saves brokers a huge amount of time when comparing each insurer’s literature. They now have instant access to key product information in a common, easy-to-read format.
“This new and unique facility will be available free of charge to all members of CETA and is a huge step forward. We are looking forward to launching the system, hopefully within the next few weeks."
