CDL is set to launch two new products designed to assist brokers in producing and archiving policy documents.

CDL Précis and CDL DocStore will be made available to brokers this autumn, CDL said.

CDL Précis has been developed to enable brokers to produce online policy summary statements, while CDL DocStore will allow brokers to archive all documents issued to customers in an electronic format.

CDL announced plans for the product launches at its recent FSA consultation forums, which were staged in Stockport and Reading.

Brokers used the forums to voice their concerns about compliance issues.

Thames City director John Oughton, who attended the forum, said: "They [CDL] proved receptive to feedback from brokers on additional areas of compliance they would like to see CDL address".

Earlier this year, AXA made its portfolio of EDI household products available to brokers using CDL's broking platform.

The AXA products on offer include ABC, AXA's buildings and contents product, and Dimensions, the insurer's bedroom-rated household product.

DaimlerChrysler Services Insurance Solutions (DCSIS) recently chose CDL to provide the online platform for its newly-launched Mercedes-Benz motor insurance.

CDL is currently rolling out its rebroke.net referral system to around 50 brokers.

Rebroke.net allows CDL users to share risk information to get the customer a better price. H&R Insurance and Fresh! are among the brokers to have piloted the system.
