ECIC will write policies for lettings and managing agents exclusively through LetRisks
LetRisks has added Electrical Contractors’ Insurance Company (ECIC) to its insurer panel.
Under the exclusive agreement ECIC will write policies ranging from from tenants’ contents, landlords’ buildings and contents to public/property owners’ and employers’ liability.
The specialist lettings and managing agents broker said the new partnership forms part of its business strategy to maximise its offering to existing and prospective clients.
LetRisks managing director Michael Portman added: “Both LetRisks and ECIC have reviewed the current LetRisks offering and are excited at the potential to enhance the products and services provided to our core market.
“ECIC is providing scheme exclusivity, ensuring we have complete control over the quality of cover we offer. Plus ECIC’s specialist underwriting expertise across the green energy sector will give us vital support and advice to ensure our policies meet any changes in the market.”
ECIC managing director Roger Brown said the partnership will be “fundamental” to helping LetRisks develop new products and services that focus on key areas of the market.
He added: “By working in partnership with our clients, we can deliver an underwriting service that meets their specific needs and those of their customers and this will be fundamental to helping LetRisks develop new products and services that focus on key areas of their market.”
