Two underwriters appointed to grow insurer's share of market
Brit Insurance Holdings has established an underwriting presence in Northern Ireland
The insurer has appointing Lawrence Burgess as motor fleet underwriter and Joe Murphy as property and combined package underwriter.
Brit has made these appointments as part of its strategy to grow its share of the Northern Ireland market.
Murphy joins Brit Insurance from Royal and SunAlliance in Belfast, where he has worked for 15 years. He has experience in a range of commercial classes, with particular focus on underwriting property and package business for the Northern Ireland market. Burgess joins Brit Insurance after 21 years at Zurich, also in Belfast, 15 of which were spent handling motor fleet business.
