Rosie O’Gara to head up central region at insurer.
Brit Insurance has appointed Rosie O’Gara as regional manager for its Central Region.
O’Gara will be based in Birmingham and will also be responsible for the Group’s Bristol office. She takes up her appointment in January 2009.
O’Gara has been in the UK insurance industry for over 20 years and is joining Brit Insurance from Zurich, where she currently manages the Construction SME business.
Prior to this role, she spent five years as business manager, responsible for the management of Zurich’s Construction underwriting teams in the Midlands and the South, and also spent seven years as development manager at Marsh. She began her career at Norwich Union.
