CII accreditation is a ‘landmark’ for £5m GWP firm, says managing director
The Chartered Insurance Institute has awarded chartered status to Bristol-based commercial broker Venture Insurance.
The Clifton-headquartered company employs 10 people and places gross written premium of £5m a year with insurers.
Venture offers all forms of business and professional indemnity insurance as well as independent advice. It also arranges personal lines cover for its commercial clients.
The broker was set up two years ago by managing director Simon James and a team of brokers.
James described the chartered status as a “landmark” for Venture.
He said: “We have always prided ourselves on being thoroughly professional in everything we do, and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying.
“It is very important that as an ethical business we can communicate this to our clients and continue to assure them they can expect to receive the highest quality of service.
“Achieving chartered status demonstrates our commitment to improving standards of knowledge and expertise.”
