Accountancy firm Bishop Fleming is to open an office in the City of London.
Bishop Fleming said the expansion was prompted by increased demand for its corporate finance and business recovery and insolvency services.
Forensic accounting specialist Edward Ross-McNairn has been appointed to head up the new office.
The company has offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Torbay and Truro, as well as insolvency offices in Birmingham and Gloucester.
