And so to Biba’s annual bash, held this year in Glasgow. The usual faces were out in force, with insurers vying to outdo one another with ever more imaginative stands.
Groupama’s chocolate fountain stood out, and Liberty Underwriting played to its crowd with a Nintendo Wii that also proved popular with the Insurance Times team.
Good old Open GI was a godsend in the mornings, with a coffee stall that put Pret to shame, and of course Norwich Union impressed all comers with a racing car on its stand.
Notable by their absence were Brit and Zurich, who this year decided against exhibiting.
