'Professionalism in a Changing World' will be theme for conference at ExCeL London
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has announced that Professionalism in a Changing World will be the theme for its 2010 conference and exhibition to be held at ExCeL London on 19th and 20th May 2010.
The title was chosen to reflect the strength of the broking channel at a time when the financial services industry is under the spotlight.
Lindsay Campbell, Biba conference organiser, said: “We are delighted to be coming back to ExCeL London, where we had a record breaking conference in 2007. This time we’re planning to extend the exhibition area as we have already had an unprecedented level of interest from both existing and new exhibitors.”
The event will take the new format of a full two day conference and exhibition held over a Wednesday and Thursday in order to maximise delegate attendance and to provide a more cost effective build-up for exhibitors. Entry to both the conference and exhibition will be free to all Biba members and all intermediaries can attend the exhibition at no cost.
Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith added: “Biba 2010 will address the business issues for all segments of the broking and intermediary channel, as well as providing the best networking experience available in the industry and the largest insurance exhibition in the UK. I look forward to welcoming you to BIBA 2010 in May next year.”
Professionalism in a changing world follows Biba 2009, Delivering value, which was the most popular conference Biba has ever held outside of London with over 3000 attendees.
