Reinsurance intermediary Benfield has released its 2003 Tropical Cyclone Season Report on an interactive CD-Rom.
The report is produced by the Natural Hazards team at Benfield and contains animations of every tropical cyclone event in the Atlantic and the northwest and northeast Pacific regions.
Commentary on the events includes meteorological data and information on damage and financial loss causes by the storms.
Benfield head of the Natural Hazards team, John Moore, said: “This is the latest Tropical Cyclone Season Report produced by the Natural Hazards Team at Benfield and enables the user to visualise the paths taken by every tropical cyclone which occurred in the Northern Hemisphere during 2003.
“Once in their chosen territory, the user can study the cyclone of their choice and print individual cyclone summaries and regional reports.”
The CD-Rom is available free of charge from the Benfield Natural Hazards team.
