Axa is set to sell the US activities of Winterthur, according to reports.
The group, which acquired Winterthur from Credit Suisse in June for €7.9bn, has reportedly been approached by a number of potential buyers for its US operations. It is expected that formal bids will be made within the next few weeks.
Axa declined to comment on the reports.
