French insurer to use Detica NetReveal service

AXA has signed up to use BAE Systems Detica’s Detica NetReveal insurance claims fraud prevention service group-wide.

The choice was prompted by a decision to use a single anti-fraud solution across the group and follows a number of successful European pilot projects with the system.

The anti-fraud tool will be delivered as a hosted service, which Detica says will allow AXA to benefit from reduced IT expenditure and implementation times.

“All insurers need to focus on claims fraud, and Detica NetReveal will provide us with effective means of reducing risk – preventing and discovering more fraudulent claims, improving positive customer service levels and allowing AXA to have more efficient claims organisations,” said AXA Global P&C’s group chief claims officer, Pierre Brigadeau, in a statement.
