Quinn customers rise from 30% to 60% of health business
Quinn Insurance rivals in Ireland are winning business from the troubled firm with Aviva siging up a “considerably above average” 5,000 new health insurance customers, The Irish Post reports.
Aviva said that typically 30% of health insurance customers come from Quinn Insurance but it is now close to 60%.
Quinn Insurance said it had ‘‘not seen any shift in customer loyalty’’. It said: ‘‘The retention rate of customers in the Republic of Ireland is very encouraging and reflects pre-administration levels. Similarly, new business sales conversion figures are very satisfactory."
