MGA founder joins board of support services provider
Arista founder and former chairman Charles Earle has joined underwriting agency support services provider Advent as non-executive chairman.
Earle was chairman of commercial underwriting agency Arista, now owned by Towergate, until his retirement in April this year.
He is also a co-founder and director of the Managing General Agents’ Association and board member of the Networks and MGAs advisory board of Biba.
Advent managing director David Hill said: “Charles is a consummate insurance professional with a track record as an exceptional leader of profitable, high growth and start-up general insurance businesses.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Charles, whose experience and expertise will assist Advent’s continued expansion and support the provision of best-in-class services to our clients.”
Earle added: “Advent has long been a supporter of distribution, delegated authority and start-up businesses and has recently sharpened and expanded its capabilities considerably. I look forward to working with David and the team and driving further value for Advent’s stakeholders and customers.”
