Arista boosts underwriting team in Bristol

Arista Insurance, the commercial lines underwriting operation, has appointed Andy Saxon as regional underwriting manager at the company’s Bristol branch.

Saxon will have overall responsibility for managing the Bristol underwriting account which covers the South West region and South Wales.

Commenting on the appointment, David Aslin, Arista’s regional manager said: “Our ability to give our brokers the high level of service they need and to continue our success is totally dependent on the quality of our staff. Andy has 16 years' experience in the insurance industry during which time he has held many senior underwriting positions and so he is an invaluable addition to the Arista team.

Many of our brokers in the region already know him, and they can all be confident they will benefit immensely from Andy’s appointment.”

Prior to joining Arista, Saxon was deputy regional underwriting manager in Bristol for Fusion and was a property underwriter for Independent Insurance for eight years.
