Broker Hamilton Fraser is offering a new landlord legal product.
The bespoke package has been developed by the legal costs insurance provider, Arc Legal Assistance, and includes property infringement and criminal prosecution defence cover.
Hamilton Fraser will include the package in its Landlord Solutions policy, underwritten by AXA.
Arc director, Richard Finan, said: “Our bespoke approach has enabled us to develop unique solutions in areas not normally supported by legal costs insurance and the landlord sector is a prime example of this.
“Many household policies for buy-to-let property include standard covers such as personal injury, employment and property, for the insured's principal residence only, and consumer. We have provided a tailored product that actually picks up the insured's risks as a landlord.”
