Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen becomes managing director of Aon Capital Markets in Europe Middle East & Africa
Aon Re Global, a unit of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced the appointment of Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen as managing director of Aon Capital Markets in Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA), effective Jan. 1, 2008.
Soeteman-Reijnen will be responsible for leading Aon’s efforts in developing integrated capital solutions with chief executive officers and chief financial officers of EMEA clients and prospects.
In 1994, Soeteman-Reijnen worked in London as a Lloyds broker before joining Aon in 1997. She has been working in various positions for Aon Re Global and Aon Risk Services, most recently holding the position of head of global carrier management, based in Rotterdam. She is honorary chairperson of the Dutch Reinsurance Association, where she was elected the first-ever female chairperson in 1996.
A licensed insurance broker and associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in London, Soeteman-Reijnen has participated in executive programmes at INSEAD and the Kellogg School of Management, as well as an English Law programme at the London School of Economics. Soeteman-Reijnen also has a master’s degree in law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
