Ratings agency AM Best said the outlook for the A- (excellent) financial strength rating for Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) remained negative.
The financial strength rating, as well as the bbb subordinated debt and bbb- preferred stock ratings remain unaffected following the announcement of R&SA’s full year results for 2003.
The ratings were last affirmed in December 2003.
It said it would continue to closely monitor the development of R&SA’s reserves during 2004.
