AM Best has affirmed the syndicate rating of A (excellent) for Lloyd's Syndicate 609, managed by Atrium Underwriters Ltd. It said the rating outlook remained stable.
The ratings agency said the action reflected the syndicate's excellent financial performance and business profile, in addition to the financial strength of the Lloyd's market as a whole.
A partially offsetting factor in the rating was the syndicate's modest market position compared with larger competitors, said AM Best.
