Allianz divisional claims manager Dane Loosley has been hired by Allianz SE to lead a supply and procurement project.
In the new role Loosley will head-up a team looking to increase the effectiveness of Allianz’s global supply and procurement activity.
He will continue to be based in the UK but will now work closely with other Allianz Group companies throughout Europe, the insurer said in a statement.
David Street, previously operations manager supply and experts team, has been seconded to replace Loosley from May 1 to December 31, 2011.
Loosley will continue in his role on the Thatcham Board and his involvement with the ClimateWise sustainability group.
Allianz’s claims director, Graham Gibson, said: “This is a great opportunity for Dane to share his knowledge and exert his influence across the global Allianz community. It also provides David with the chance to gain greater experience and prepare him for future senior leadership roles.”
